"B BO"

B Bo was found at one of the Long Island beach, completely alone with a badly injured tail. No one knew how she ended up there, but it was clear she would not survive on her own. She was rescued and taken to a veterinarian. The injury was too severe to save her tail, and surgery was necessary to save her life, leaving her with only about an inch of tail.

After she recovered, she needed a home. I later saw a post saying that if no one adopted B Bo, she would be put to sleep the following Monday. That stayed with me, and I knew I couldn’t let that happen. We quickly brought her home that weekend.

She was quiet and frightened at first. When I spoke to her, I sometimes noticed tears in her eyes. Even so, she slowly began to trust me and started coming to me on her own. She loved food, enjoyed the company of the other cats, and was especially gentle with kittens. The vet believed she may have had babies of her own in the past.
